We at Ravensburger are both a truly global company and a family. As a bunch full of different characters and personalities with heart and a passion for achieving our goals together, we offer a great range of entertainment for children and families. What drives us forward? A shared sense of purpose. Together we are working on creating something meaningful - pure fulfillment for your career!

This is what we need you for

  • Design the play systems for Disney Lorcana play programs, owning the store and grassroots play ecosystem (launch events, weekly play programs, store championships, demo programs, special store events, convention play) and collaborating on premier play programs (Challenges, Championships, Worlds). Manage the Ravensburger Play Hub program documentation, both external and internal facing, including the handbook that Ravensburger’s regionally-based Play Managers and sales & marketing teams will follow for best practices in nurturing and growing RPH stores in their regions.

  • Clearly and timely communicate play programs, rules, and operations to internal stakeholders, regional teams, stores, tournament organizer partners, and players. Provide on-site and on-call event support for operational execution, including on the weekends events are scheduled. Travel is expected from 10-25%, including international travel.

  • Create and deliver reports and presentations that clearly communicate program strategy, execution plans, and analysis of results and impact. Communicate and collaborate closely with regional markets all across the world to better support their local play. Research and synthesize trends in the store and grassroots gaming space and be the expert our competitors.

  • Represent store and player needs to the digital teams executing tournament software and digital tools, and be a subject matter expert able to train both internal colleagues and external users to effectively use the digital software. Educate, train, and coach regional play leads and event staff on general play & events operations best practices and Disney Lorcana specific rules and operations. Manage dispute resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions to resolve conflict and uphold the integrity and inclusivity of play events and programs.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to ensure smooth flow of event information before, during, and after events, including crafting and presenting comprehensive program briefs to kick off campaigns.

This is what you can score highly with

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing programs for and managing operations of play programs in local game stores, preferably in the TCG space. Intimate knowledge of local game stores and how they operate, with the ability to be their advocate within Ravensburger.

  • Experience working with convention play event teams and familiarity with best practices of large-scale events as they relate to event design and operations. Able to generate and present reports on program results and industry trends.

  • Experience working internationally with colleagues, partners, and players highly preferred. Passion for TCGs and an affinity for Disney. Existing Disney Lorcana TCG knowledge or an eagerness to deeply learn.

  • Proven success in leading through influence and mutual trust. A strong collaborator who is comfortable having vigorous and positive debate, works to find win-win solutions, and ultimately pulls teams together with an inspiring vision and timely and clear communication

  • Test-and-learn innovator who combines best practices, data, insights, and intuition. Naturally curious, seeks to learn from others, and listens to understand.
