What You’ll Do
Production Ownership & Delivery
- Own end-to-end technical production for Trading Card Game products, from development handoff through mass production and delivery.
- Act as the primary owner of manufacturing execution, coordinating internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver against defined schedule, quality, cost, and margin targets.
- Define and drive production strategies that balance creative intent, manufacturability, and business objectives.
Manufacturing Strategy & Vendor Leadership
- Select, evaluate, and implement materials, processes, and manufacturing approaches that best support product specifications and long-term scalability.
- Lead manufacturing engagement across development and production, ensuring readiness, consistency, and brand integrity.
- Negotiate costs and manufacturing terms aligned to Bills of Materials (BOM), Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) targets, and sustainable vendor partnerships.
Technical Specification & Cost Control
- Establish and maintain manufacturing specifications, BOMs, and core production documentation.
- Partner with Finance and Project Management to support accurate cost modeling, margin management, and production forecasting.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve technical risks, tradeoffs, and constraints early to prevent downstream disruption.
Quality & Standards Stewardship
- Own approval authority for production readiness across prototypes, test runs, and final manufacturing outputs.
- Champion continuous improvement in product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and reliability, ensuring durability and consumer safety standards are consistently met.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Project Management to align schedules, priorities, and escalation paths.
- Translate manufacturing considerations into clear, actionable guidance for Product, Design, and Creative teams.
- Support Sales and Marketing needs through the provision of accurate, high-quality production samples and materials as required.

- Strong knowledge of print processing, materials, manufacturing processes, and product prototyping relevant to Trading Card Games and collectibles.
- Ability to evaluate and scale manufacturing solutions across diverse product requirements.

Operational Discipline

Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in consumer product production with overseas manufacturing partners.
- Proven track record of delivering complex physical products on schedule and within cost targets.
- Experience in Trading Card Games, games, or collectibles preferred.
Travel & Physical Requirements
- Regular domestic and international travel required for on-site quality assessment and partner engagement.
- Ability to meet standard physical requirements associated with production oversight and factory environments.

- Consistent on-time, on-budget delivery of Trading Card Game products.
- Achievement of defined quality, durability, and safety standards.
- Proactive identification and communication of production risks and tradeoffs.
