This is what we need you for

Regional Strategy & Execution:

  • Adapt global marketing strategies to meet regional needs 
  • Develop and implement localized go-to-market plans, including pricing, positioning, promotions, and launch timelines
  • Partner with Category Manager, Sales, Trade Marketing, and external partners to support retail sell-in and enhance shelf presence across mass, specialty, and online channels
  • Gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer personas
  • Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage 
  • Collaborate with licensors by developing familiarity with licensed IP and managing the submission of marketing materials for approval, ensuring brand alignment and compliance with licensor guidelines
  • Manage external marketing agencies to ensure strong performance and effective execution, providing necessary information, context, and support to deliver on strategic goals
  • Develop and execute event strategies in collaboration with the Events Manager. Plan and oversee the brand's presence at key events, ensuring alignment with category goals and consumer engagement objectives. Collaborate with internal teams and partners to create impactful experiences that drive awareness, participation, and sales

Global Marketing Interface:

  • Represent regional market needs in global brand meetings, providing feedback on product concepts, packaging, and campaign direction
  • Ensure local marketing initiatives align with global brand strategy while addressing unique consumer behaviors and market trends
  • Share regional performance insights and competitor activity with global partners to guide future innovation and messaging

Campaign Development:

  • Develop product messaging that differentiates new products and services from others in the market
  • Lead the creation and adaptation of marketing assets across digital, social, and in-store touchpoints.
  • Manage localization of creative assets, translations, and regional compliance requirements.
  • Support influencer programs, PR activations, and partnerships that highlight the tactile, nostalgic, and creative appeal of the categories

Retail & Trade Support:

  • Develop trade marketing tools and retailer-specific activations to support merchandising and seasonal promotions.
  • Coordinate samples, sell-in decks, and presentation materials for sales teams.
  • Attend industry trade shows, consumer events, and retailer meetings to advocate for the category and gather market intelligence
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product

Performance & Optimization:

  • Monitor category performance, campaign KPIs, and consumer engagement across channels
  • Analyze sales and market data to inform future planning and optimize ongoing programs
  • Manage regional marketing budgets and ensure high ROI on campaign spend
     

This is what you can score highly with

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field (MBA a plus)
  • 5+ years in product or brand marketing within consumer goods, preferably in toys, puzzles, crafts, or related categories
  • Proven track record of executing regional go-to-market plans and adapting global strategies for local relevance
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with global brand and regional sales teams
  • Excellent communication, project management, and creative briefing experience
  • Passion for creative, educational, or nostalgic products that inspire hands-on engagement
  • Proficient with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Suite, Wrike, Power BI, Circana, Office Suite)

The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,000. to $90,000, in accordance with state regulations. We offer comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, 401(k), and paid time off.
