This is what we need you for
- Taking responsibility for the Games category at Ravensburger including Brands, New Games and Brain & Logic Games, reporting directly to the CPO.
- Lead and manage teams across the USA, Germany and Sweden.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans, including forecasting and market analysis, to ensure the long-term success of game products.
- Take full commercial responsibility for the product portfolio and work closely with Sales teams.
- Drive business development efforts, identifying potential new games and target audiences, and deciding which games to develop or acquire.
- Build and maintain a strong network with game developers, inventors, and external studios, ensuring a balanced portfolio of in-house and externally developed games.
- Evaluate game concepts for new games as well as promote the development of product brands, ensuring they resonate with international audiences.
- Ensure development of products align with current trends while also predicting and capitalizing on future market trends.

- Extensive international experience and and a well-established global network, particularly in the games industry.
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen, including experience in creating business plans and conducting market forecasting.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to run a business unit, balancing creativity with commercial objectives.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience in leading and connecting with the creative (games) community, certain level of understanding and ability to assess creative concepts.
- Deep expertise in game development, distribution, and marketing, with a strong track record of successful game launches.
- Strong connections within the international games industry, particularly with game inventors and developers.
- The ability to assess the commercial potential of game concepts and identify winning products.
- Familiarity with licensing processes and managing relationships with licensors.
- Ability to foresee and capitalize on emerging trends in the games industry.
